Sister Margaret Turk

Sister Margaret’s lifelong ministry has been education. She now uses her skills working with the Family Justice Center, the Parish Nurse Program and by teaching stress reduction methods and use of Hand Massage for relief of pain. Sister’s gentle manner and prayerful support offers encouragement to patients particularly challenged by serious or chronic illness.
Sister Marie Moore

Sister Marie Moore returned to health ministry in Knoxville in October 2008. Previously Sister served 21 years at St. Mary’s Medical Center and was the president of the hospital from 1971 to 1983. With her health care background and focus on spirituality, Sister Marie brings God’s love and healing presence to patients and their families. She is a true blessing to the Tennova community.
Sister Mary Albertine Paulus

Sister Albertine enhances Catholic worship services in the hospital chapel with beautiful organ music. For years she promoted St. Mary’s Medical Center’s mission in her role on the Board of Directors. In retirement she continues to coordinate pilgrimages for the Diocese of Knoxville. She is a familiar sight around the hospital and is a strong advocate for continuing quality health care at Tennova.
Sister Mary Janice Brink

Sister Janice supports, encourages and prays with patients who are having orthopedic procedures and transitional care at Physicians Regional Medical Center. She is known for her happy smile and gentle ways. Sister’s great love for children is evident as she visits the mothers and families of new babies in the Women’s Pavilion. People frequently experience her supportive presence in the hospital chapel.
Sister Mary Martha Naber

Sister Martha fills many of the needs that go beyond medical care. For patients, for the poor and elderly, and for Tennova’s associates, Sister is there in times of emergency to assist with food, money, comfort, encouragement and prayer. Her gracious presence, attentive listening and quiet humor help her to reach out in blessing to those she meets. Sister is the “keeper” of St. Mary’s history in the hospital archives.
Sister Patricia Connolly

Sister Pat is widely known throughout East TN as she reaches out supporting patients and their families as well as associates in many of the Tennova facilities. Weekly she is seen in Campbell, Cocke and Jefferson Counties as well as at the North Knoxville and Physicians Regional facilities. Her Irish wit and smile bring encouragement and support to those she meets.
