Visitor Information

We love for you to visit. We believe your very presence aids in the healing of patients and supports their families.

We suggest a few guidelines when you visit the hospital:

  • Only two visitors with one patient at one time
  • All visitors must wear shoes and shirts
  • No smoking or eating in patient rooms
  • Do not visit if you have a cold or illness
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult and cannot visit where "isolation" or precautions are in place

Visiting hours

11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

For patients in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and the Coronary Care Unit (CCU), visitation occurs every two hours on the even hour (2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m., etc.) for 30 minutes.

For Tower 4, the Behavioral Services Unit:

  • Monday - Friday: 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, Sunday and holidays: 2 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Children's visits are allowed only with a doctor's permission.

Parking

There are 1,455 parking spaces located around the medical center, both free and pay parking. There are two parking garages, several lots, and parking meters on the streets nearby.

Gift shop

The gift shop sells live flowers and plants, silk flower arrangements, candy, cards and gifts. It is located on the first floor, just outside of the Oak Hill Café. Hours are:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

To purchase gifts and flowers with a credit card by telephone, call (865) 545-7705. Gifts will be delivered to the patient's room during business hours.

Proceeds from sales are returned to the medical center to help continue the mission of healing and community service.
