The Newport Convalescent Center is a highly regarded nursing home designed for patients no longer able to care for themselves. The Center is a 56-bed intermediate, long-term care facility which is a member of the Tennessee Health Care Association. The Center provides an interdisciplinary approach to caring for a wide variety of residents. The staff is trained to assist individuals with the routine of daily living, rehabilitative, and/or clinical monitoring and treatment. Tennova Sports Medicine is a community outreach program that places Certified Athletic Trainers (ATCs) at local high schools to provide practice and game coverage for all TSSAA sanctioned high school athletics.
