Wound Healing Center
Tennova Healthcare’s Wound Healing Center offers specialized, outpatient care for non-healing wounds. Our team of doctors, nurse practitioners, and nurses provide the latest treatments available to promote healing of chronic wounds and help patients recover as quickly as possible. We provide care for:
- Non-healing wounds (of six weeks or more)
- Wounds that recur after healing
- Diabetic foot and ankle wounds
- Ulcers, including ischemic, pressure, and venous stasis
- Other conditions such as bites, infections, and more
When you visit the center, we will do a thorough evaluation of your wound and current health status to determine a treatment plan. Wound Healing Center staff will educate you about the cause of your wound, as well as provide information on how to:
- Prevent wounds from happening
- Care for your wound
- Recognize early warning signs of complications
